Heritage Collection
Discover the Four Heritage Scents by Van De Zotte: our four Eau de Parfums, beautifully presented in a luxurious gift box. Each fragrance tells a story of our Dutch Heritage: WAD captures the salty beauty of the Wadden Sea, POLDER evokes the green reclaimed lands, MILLS recalls the spicy scents of the windmills of the Golden Age, and WILD takes you deep into ancient mossy pine forests like the Veluwe. Handmade in the Netherlands, and wrapped in artisanal luxury – a powerful tribute to Dutch heritage.
MILLS
The scents of the Dutch windmills.
The main ingredients are clove, cinnamon and pepper. And even we did not think these would bond together so well. You will also experience notes of bergamot, vetiver, saffron, tobacco and leather, which results in this dashing and spicy fragrance.
POLDER
This is what it smells like 6 meters below sea level.
You will smell fresh grass, dry woods and warm hay. This scent will develop beautifully on your skin. The main ingredients are green polder herbs like artemisia, clary sage and carrot seeds. Besides that you will also experience notes of fresh bergamot, basil, freshly mowed grass, cedar wood, patchouli and vetiver, which results in this enchanting and appealing green fragrance.
WILD
You will definitely smell the forest, with pine trees, sweet resin, purple heather fields, wet soil of leaves and moss. All completed with a wild and animalic edge of musk, oudh and smokey vetiver, which delivers a very long and powerful longevity.
WAD
Our 'hardest' perfume to develop yet. We believe we succeeded in capturing the true scent of the Wadden Sea and its islands, while still making it a delicious perfume. But don't just take our word for it. WAD was awarded with a Dutch Beauty Award!
You will smell salty seaweeds, ship's rope, juttersheds, and pine. After a while it will develop to an addicting and extremely longlasting sea scent, thanks to ambergris and oudh.
All of our perfumes are unisex. Scents live differently on each of us depending on other factors than gender.
